What You’ll Be Doing as a Customer Service Advisor

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in managing and growing our personal lines business – including motor, home, farm, van, health, and marine insurance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and generating new business across all personal lines.
  • Managing policy queries and mid-term adjustments for existing clients.
  • Supporting the renewal cycle to help maintain strong client retention.
  • Handling day-to-day administrative tasks associated with client policies.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities through meaningful client interactions.
  • Delivering outstanding service both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Ensuring compliance with CBI, CPC, GDPR, and internal policies at all times.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Customer Service Advisor who thrives in a customer-facing role and is motivated by providing real value to clients.

  • ✔️ Prior experience in a personal insurance environment is required.
  • APA or CIP qualification is a strong advantage.
  • You’re proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities for the Insurance Customer Service Advisor:
  • Tasked with fostering new business growth across diverse personal insurance categories: motor, home, farm, van, health, and marine.
  • Efficiently manage policy queries and adjustments to meet clients’ evolving needs.
  • Play an essential role in ensuring client retention throughout the annual renewal cycle.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks associated with personal lines policies.
  • Proactively spot cross-selling opportunities by understanding clients’ insurance needs.
  • Ensure exceptional client experiences, whether face-to-face or over the phone.
  • Collaborate effectively and demonstrate flexibility to support team objectives.
  • Ensure mandatory compliance with regulatory standards such as CBI, CPC, GDPR, and internal policies.

Experience and Qualifications for the Insurance Customer Service Advisor:

  • Experience and knowledge in a personal insurance environment.
  • APA/CIP qualification or working towards.
