We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to lead and optimise transport operations within an established organisation.

This hands-on role focuses on efficiency, safety, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Operations: Oversee and optimise transport operations for efficiency, cost control, and compliance.

• People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop staff, promoting accountability and high performance.

• Stakeholder & Contractor Management: Build strong relationships and manage contractors to ensure reliable service.

• Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain regulatory and safety standards and address operational risks.

• Data & Reporting: Use operational data to drive decisions and improve performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing transport operations and teams

• Strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills

• Experience managing contractors and compliance

• Ability to drive operational improvements and efficiency

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
