We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Accountant to join their growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a varied role with significant client interaction, team leadership responsibilities, and exposure to a diverse portfolio of businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and client satisfaction.
- Review and prepare year-end financial statements, management accounts, and statutory filings for a range of business entities.
- Provide practical business advice and financial guidance to clients, supporting informed decision-making and growth strategies.
- Monitor engagement progress and ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and in line with agreed deadlines.
- Lead the planning and coordination of assignments across the accounting team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance, coaching, and technical support where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day queries.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- Highly motivated professional with a strong commitment to career development and continuous learning.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver excellent service.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring and supporting junior staff.
- Resident in Ireland.
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience within a practice environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build credibility and trust with clients and colleagues alike.
