Quality Manager

Overview
A progressive manufacturing company based in Wexford is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and GMP standards.

The role involves driving quality assurance across operations, leading audits, managing CAPA processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures in line with industry and customer standards.

  • Oversee internal audits, customer inspections, and regulatory compliance.

  • Manage product and process validation, including equipment qualification and cleaning validation.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.

  • Drive Lean and Six Sigma-based improvements, focusing on visual standards and inspection training.

  • Provide QA support for new product and process introductions.

  • Monitor supplier quality, conduct supplier audits, and ensure traceability of materials.

  • Maintain documentation and report on quality metrics and improvement initiatives to leadership.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a quality role within manufacturing (e.g., pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, or food).

  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and CAPA systems.

  • Skilled in leading audits and working cross-functionally with teams.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management abilities.

  • Proficient in quality management tools and MS Office, especially Excel.
