The Opportunity

Our client, a leading Irish fuel distribution company, is currently seeking an experienced Artic Driver to join their operation in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Working as part of a dedicated transport team, you will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of fuel products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

• €20.00 per hour
• 46-48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver fuel products in accordance with daily schedules.
• Operate an articulated tanker vehicle while adhering to all road transport and ADR regulations.
• Complete all required delivery and compliance documentation accurately.
• Maintain regular communication with transport and operations teams regarding delivery progress and any delays.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects promptly.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
• Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses, or damage immediately.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively while on the road.

Requirements

Essential

• Full Category CE (Artic) Licence
• Valid ADR Certificate (HazChem Qualification)
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of transport compliance and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Previous experience transporting fuel, chemicals, or bulk liquids
• Tanker driving experience
• Knowledge of ADR transport regulations
