What you will be doing- Full Training Will Be Provided

  • Installation/service of medical oxygen equipment.
  • Installation/service of ventilation equipment.
  • Providing training and technical support to our patients and their families.
  • Providing product knowledge to both private sector and Hospital environment.
  • Provide after-hours patient support on a roster basis.

  • Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written skills are essential.
  • Technical Expertise & Attention to Detail – Experience in technical repairs is advantageous.
  • IT Proficiency – Comfortable using computers and working with IT systems.
  • Adaptability & Initiative – Willing to take on varied tasks and responsibilities.
  • Valid Driving Licence (2+ Years) – A full, clean driving licence is required.
  • Geographical Knowledge – Familiarity with the Clare area and flexibility to travel when needed.
  • Location – Must be based in Ennis or surrounding areas.
  • Industry Experience (Preferred, Not Essential) – Experience in the homecare medical device field is beneficial, but full product training will be provided.

Patient Care Nurse

Patient Care Nurse

The Patient Care Nurse will be responsible for supporting existing patients and contributing to service expansion by promoting and delivering high-quality patient care services to key stakeholders across hospital and community settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation and setup of homecare devices including CPAP, NIV, invasive ventilation, diagnostic equipment, and cough assist devices in patient homes and hospital locations

  • Management of patient home installations, clinic-based installations and support, including patient and clinician training and compliance activities

  • Ongoing patient follow-up post-installation, including telephone support, home visits, and compliance monitoring, with structured feedback provided to prescribing centres

  • Support for clinical training sessions and educational workshops in designated centres

  • Attendance at respiratory conferences and professional meetings as required

  • Support of regional respiratory services, with occasional support in other regions as needed

  • Adaptation of the role to support new product or service introductions when required

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Nurse or Physiotherapist with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a hospital and/or homecare environment

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills

  • Proven ability to present, train, mentor, and influence a broad range of stakeholders

  • Commercial awareness and experience in developing and maintaining strong professional relationships is desirable

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow tasks through to completion

  • Computer literate with practical IT skills

  • Full manual driving licence
