Rigid Truck Driver Cork

Our client, a leading and well-established fuel distribution company, is currently seeking a Rigid Truck Driver to join their growing Oil Division based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and safety-conscious driver looking to join a successful Irish business with strong career prospects and an excellent support network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering home heating oil and commercial fuels throughout Cork and the surrounding region while providing a professional and high-quality customer experience.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday / Flexible start + finish times

Salary: €700 – €1000 per week + Retention bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver home heating oil and commercial fuels to residential and commercial customers.
• Complete scheduled deliveries throughout Cork and the surrounding areas.
• Act as a professional ambassador for the company, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships during daily interactions.
• Identify and report potential sales opportunities or customer leads to the Sales and Operations team.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain required records.
• Ensure full compliance with road transport legislation, company procedures, and health & safety standards.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Full and valid Category C Driving Licence, CPC + Tachograph crd.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• ADR Certification is desirable; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
