Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Developer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on building scalable, cloud-based enterprise applications. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions, contributing to architecture decisions, and supporting customers through innovative technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Improve application quality, performance, resilience, and efficiency.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications using modern DevOps and pipeline technologies.
• Support customers and business stakeholders in achieving successful outcomes with software solutions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members where required.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ Java/J2EE development experience, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong experience developing enterprise-scale applications in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience within healthcare technology environments.
• Knowledge of HL7 and X12 standards.
• Familiarity with tools such as IntelliJ, Jira, Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or technical coaching experience
