Part-Qualified Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join our finance team. This role will involve overseeing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing accounting support to clients.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring smooth financial operations while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end accounts and supporting financial reports for review.
• Reconcile various accounts, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchase agreements, and fixed assets.
• Accurately process and maintain financial transactions within accounting systems.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines and compliance obligations are met.
• Support year-end processes, including posting final journal adjustments.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns.
• Maintain professional communication with clients through phone and email correspondence.
• Collaborate with managers on ad hoc assignments and special projects.

Requirements:

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum of two years‘ experience within an accounting practice environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capable of working independently while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving ability.
