Supply Chain Analyst

Job description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support logistics and transportation operations within a dynamic supply chain team. This role involves analysing supply chain performance, working with logistics partners, and supporting procurement activities across multiple transportation modes.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics and transportation sourcing activities across multiple freight modes including road, parcel, air, ocean, and warehousing

• Assist with supplier evaluation, onboarding, and contract coordination with logistics partners

• Contribute to the execution of procurement strategies aimed at improving efficiency and cost control within the supply chain

• Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to support operational planning and strategic initiatives

• Monitor and report on financial and performance metrics, including forecasting, cost savings opportunities, and project tracking

• Analyse logistics market trends and provide insights to support informed decision-making

• Assist with supply chain improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects

• Maintain accurate data and reporting related to logistics operations and supplier performance

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline

• Minimum of five years’ experience in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement environment

• Familiarity with supplier and contract management processes

• Strong analytical ability with advanced Excel and data analysis skills

• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support business decisions

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
