We are searching for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the General Manager, handling a range of administrative and organizational tasks to ensure seamless daily operations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multitasking skills, with a strong ability to prioritize and maintain confidentiality. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the General Manager’s calendar, overseeing key processes, and addressing a wide array of responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the General Manager’s calendar by coordinating and prioritizing appointments, meetings, and events to ensure effective time management and workflow.
- Prepare, compile, and organize necessary documents for meetings and events, attending when necessary to provide support.
- Handle administrative tasks such as drafting reports, letters, emails, meeting minutes, and other correspondence as needed.
- Maintain and organize all essential data, ensuring records are kept up-to-date and accessible.
- Conduct research and manage responses to inquiries or issues addressed to the General Manager, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Assist with recruitment for specific roles, as needed.
- Perform additional administrative duties on an ad-hoc or temporary basis, such as holiday cover for specific tasks.
- Become familiar with all company programs and processes.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager, with mutual agreement on scope and expectations.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Professional, team-oriented, and able to function effectively as both a team member and an individual contributor.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information discreetly and effectively, demonstrating adaptability and excellent customer service.
- Good numerical skills, with a working knowledge of finance or experience in financial record-keeping.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A qualification in Business or Marketing is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in farming are beneficial.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing support at the senior management level.
