Job Purpose
My client is currently seeking a proficient Web Developer and SEO Specialist to join their growing marketing team in a vibrant office located in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Digital Growth, the successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Web Development and Technical SEO. You will be the go-to expert for all UX-related matters, complementing the content and data specialists by providing insights and strategies to enhance the overall performance of SEO campaigns.
This is a full-time office-based role at the East-Point Business Park in Dublin, with a competitive salary of €50,000. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential due to the collaborative nature of the team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO initiatives, including site audits, schema markup, core web vitals, and website performance optimization.
- Improve the user experience (UX) across the company’s three main websites.
- Collaborate closely with the SEO Content Specialist and SEO Copywriter to ensure client websites are optimized to support content strategies.
- Work with the Web and Analytics Specialist to analyze data and refine SEO tactics.
- Assist with new business development and upsell technical SEO strategies to existing clients.
- Advise, train, and collaborate with internal teams to promote SEO best practices.
- Work closely with the broader team on website audits and on-page SEO efforts.
- Conduct keyword research using various tools and monitor user engagement on the website.
- Stay up to date with SEO, search engine, and industry trends, developments, and algorithm changes.
- Collaborate with the in-house web development team and be able to report specific technical issues to the UK-based dev team.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of Web Development experience.
- 8+ years of experience in an SEO-focused role.
- 8+ years of coding experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Magento.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
