We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our retail environment. This role is responsible for inspiring, developing, and empowering a large, dynamic team while ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards and operational excellence. The Store Manager will bring strong leadership, commercial insight, and a proven ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

Lead by example, consistently championing the company’s values, standards, and culture

Drive exceptional customer service across all departments, setting high expectations for team engagement and performance

Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety and HACCP

Monitor and analyse sales performance across categories, implementing strategies to optimise results

Develop and coach team members, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to succeed

Coordinate operational plans, including budget control, P&L oversight, workforce planning, and resource allocation

Plan and manage effective staff rotas and forecast future staffing needs

Implement business strategies and delegate responsibilities to team members in line with their skills and development goals

Maintain accurate stock control and ensure the shop floor environment meets brand and visual merchandising standards

Act as a liaison between your team and senior leadership, ensuring clear and timely communication

Prioritise team development and create an environment where individual potential is nurtured and recognised

Effectively manage service recovery and customer issue resolution while maintaining professionalism and brand integrity
Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior retail management role, leading teams of 10+ people

Demonstrated success in driving performance, developing talent, and achieving business KPIs

Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and category management

Commercially minded with experience managing P&L, stock control, and cost efficiency

Proven experience with rota planning, forecasting, and resource management

Adept in visual merchandising practices, including interpreting and applying planograms

Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of building strong relationships across departments

Comfortable making autonomous decisions in a customer-first environment

Skilled in conflict resolution and delivering consistent, high-quality service

Detail-focused with strong organisational and time management abilities
