Health & Safety Advisor
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to provide legally compliant H&S advice and solutions, particularly during client acquisition processes. This role will involve working closely with the Business Development team to support prospects with expert advice, showcasing the value of the service, and promoting additional support options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in sales meetings via video or telephone alongside Business Development Managers (BDMs), providing necessary H&S guidance.
- Advise on all aspects of health and safety, ensuring legal compliance and supporting the business needs of prospective clients.
- Provide initial H&S guidance on live issues prospects may have, demonstrating the value and expertise offered to Peninsula clients.
- Maintain and update knowledge of H&S best practices and the company’s service offerings.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Business Development Managers and Business Sales Consultants.
- Accurately log all advice and ensure seamless handover to the Advisory Team, adhering to internal SLAs.
- Review client documentation, provide critiques, and ensure advice is compliant with internal terms and conditions.
- Deliver internal training and legal updates to ensure advice remains of the highest standard.
Key Requirements:
- Strong health & safety background with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, including providing full, end-to-end support to business owners.
- Proven ability to communicate complex information effectively, with a proactive and commercial approach.
- A “can-do” attitude, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with supporting sales and marketing efforts through H&S expertise.
